About The Conference

The Linux Professional Institute of East Africa in partnership with the East African open source community is delighted to invite you to the inaugural East African Conference on Open Source to be held on 26th – 29thAugust 2019 at the United States International University- USIU, Nairobi. EACOS-2019 aims to bring together the players in the regional technology sector, the Government and Academia (the triple helix) in one place to share knowledge, network and acquire new skills. We will explore the opportunities brought about by the open source model and open innovation in the achievement of the Big 4 agenda and its place in African development and Vision 2030.
